Doctor’s increasingly cite stress as a major contributing factor to many illnesses. Denise has designed workshops that can help you create a warm and loving space to guide you back to your own natural state of joy and wellbeing. She can also help you harness your body’s own powers of healing by using yoga, meditation and Ayurvedic principles.  This program is designed to get a better understanding of our potential to heal ourselves from within. These Ayurveda workshops will help you identify the imbalances in your life, teach you how to correct them and help to you develop a more nurturing daily routine. There are so many techniques that you can learn to help you manage and almost eliminate the stress in your life. Once your stress is eliminated, your mind and body begin to function with maximum effectiveness, which helps you to create healthy vitality and happiness in your life.

Workshops are offered monthly as weekend seminars. Yoga Teachers earn 15 Hours of Continuing Education Credits with Yoga Alliance.

What is Ayurveda? Ayurveda is a 5000 year old healing system founded in Ancient India. It is also called the science of life and it offers a proven guide for a life of happiness, vitality, love and purpose. The term Ayurveda is taken from the Sanskrit words ayus, meaning life or lifespan, and veda, meaning knowledge. From the Ayurvedic perspective, human beings are not viewed as mere thinking physical machines, but rather fields of intelligence in dynamic exchange with energy and information of environment. Health is a state of vibrant balance in which all the layers of one’s life are integrated. The basic principle of Ayurveda is to prevent and treat illness by maintaining balance in the body, mind, and consciousness through proper drinking, diet, and lifestyle, as well as herbal remedies.
